DIGIVAC ^TM Model 300 & 400 Vacuum Controllers
                 and Vacuum Process Computers

Digivac Process computers are 
used to control vacuum processes 
such as freeze drying, coating, 
metalizing, heat treating, etc.

Two types of computers are 
used, depending on the degree 
of complexity. Both are programmed
in BASIC, so software changes
are easily made.

Features include: 12 Bit A to D converter, Two vacuum ports, RS-232 serial ports, Proportional vacuum control valvesm, Automatic restart after power outage, PC interface to for graphic display of process values (see "Custom Programming"), PC control of process set-points ("recipies"), PC starting and stopping of process, Local 80 character (40 x 2 lines) backlit, Direct line printer drive, Non-Volatile memory for process variables, Real-Time Clock, +/- .2ºC traceable, 10 thermometer channels, 8 process control outputs.

The Model 300 uses a highly powerful, general purpose computer and the Model 400 uses the state-of-the-art, cost-effective, PIC controller.

                             Digivac 450 series Valve / Controller

Used to control vacuum from 0 to 760 torr using a pwm modulated proportional valve in series with the vacuum pump. Available in brass or stainless steel. Widely used in pharmaceutical industry to control vacuum in evaporator flasks and similar applications. Includes stainless steel strain gauge absolute pressure sensor, backlit LCD display, and vent valve.

Process computers are offered in cost-effective open configuration for embedding in a customer's system, or in-the-rack mounted enclosures as shown in the illustration.

Our computers can be interfaced to Vacuum Transmitters such as the Edwards AIM gauge or the Granville-Phillips Convectron for wide-range use.
