The DigiVac Vapor Pressure Controller allows you to determine set-points and maintain vacuum at that level. The gauge is particularly useful when you are looking to maintain pressure at a certain level as needed for botanical processing and rotary evaporation. Mounting can be bench-top or on a laboratory pole.

    This controller has made a huge difference. The method by which it maintains a pressure set point has reduced the wear on our pumps–it opens and closes a valve internal to the unit. Before we were creating leaks in our system or turning our pump off and on manually–which is not only hard on the pump but also means someone has to be standing there monitoring the pressure on a ham handed needle gauge which is not only a coarse measurement, but often less than reliable.

    Used in conjunction with the computer controlled program (which allows us to monitor and adjust pressures from our cell phones) we are able to not only walk away from a rotary evaporator during our runs but also check up on the progress and change our vapor pressure set point from anywhere. This system has allowed us to be more accurate and efficient in every aspect of our vacuum processes and actually see what we are doing. I feel like we were in the stone age before and now we actually have the tools to do what we need and feel like we not only know what we are doing but are able to see what’s happening. It lets us save run data and set automatic run programs that change pressure set points over time. If you’re performing any process using vacuum I cannot recommend this product enough. It’s saving me time, money, and making our process consistent and accurate.

    Tim and Kerry gave us everything we needed to set it up and we haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever. Worth every penny.
