The Edwards nXDS15iC Dry Scroll Pump has 10.1 CFM and is ideal for corrosive environments as seen in research, processing and chemistry laboratories.

The new nXDS-C pump is a modified version of the nXDS that is suitable for use on vapor handling processes, and may be used for some pumping applications involving corrosive substances. The nXDS-C variants have Chemraz® internal valves and stainless steel fittings for extra protection from the pumped media. Together with exceptional pumping capability, ultimate vacuum performance and state-of-the-art design features, the nXDS-C dry scroll pump is the best performing pump in its class.

The Edwards nXDS15iC Dry Scroll Pump is up to 20 times quieter than other vacuum pumps. Its intelligent control functions and up to five year service interval offer low cost of ownership, making it the small dry pump of choice for today’s most advanced technologies.

History

This is a next-generation vacuum pump by Edwards.  The nXDS15iC Dry Scroll Pump has many big improvements, including chemical-resistant (C model), much longer service life, easier maintenance and better efficiency, to name just a few.

Overview

The Edwards nXDS15ic pump is a truly dry vacuum pump. All the bearings (with hydrocarbon lubricant) are isolated from the vacuum space. The nXDS15ic is the next generation in completely oil free, dry scroll pumps. nXDS improves on legacy XDS pumps by offering increased pumping speeds, combined with lower ultimate pressures, lower power consumption and lower noise. Gas ballast allows for pumping of condensable vapors including, water, solvents, dilute acids and bases.  nXDS pumps also feature the latest in tip seal technology giving significantly longer life between tip seal changes. Integrated inverter drive with auto sensing voltage input delivers optimized pumping performance globally. nXDS pumps are designed to be completely field serviceable.
